it kinda bums me out seeing that people expect you to be chugging out gallery-worthy artwork left and right. i mean, you obviously put a lot of effort into things like prints and commissions, so i dont think people should complain. they dont have the right to expect anything from you unless they commission it :/
It’s fine, because criticism is criticism and I’ll hear it out. I DO want to improve.
But trouble is I do a LOT more than just draw art. I’m working on a music album, animation projects, voice acting work, and am meanwhile working out 5 days a week, helping take care of my aging grandparents, working, doing the things someone in their 20s needs to prioritize.
I’d love to devote more time to improving on my skill, I really would, but this is a time in my life that just doesn’t allow for a whole lot of extra sitting in front of my computer working on pieces that take me more than 4-5 hours. But like I said, maybe once things settle into a more stable routine.
